Proprietors Chris & Betsy Peacock established their home around an exquisite vineyard site on Spring Mountain in 1991. They initially sold the fruit from their six-acre Estate to Barnett Winery, before being advised by many, including winemaker Craig Becker, in 1999 that the caliber of Cabernet from their vineyard was too good to sell. Craig joined Peacock that year to produce their debut vintage, and has meticulously crafted every vintage of Peacock Family Vineyard ever since. Over the years, Craig has strategically added new varietals from highly coveted vineyards to expand the portfolio to what it is today: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and in 2018, their very first Rosé of Pinot Noir.
To bring Peacock into their next chapter, daughter Rebecca Peacock officially joined the Peacock Vineyard team in 2013. Rebecca has always been passionate about wine, food and fashion, and had an extensive career in fashion that took her on buying trips to France, where her love of great wine and food continued to blossom. She now devotes her complete attention and her considerable talents as proprietor of Peacock Family Vineyard, and as a second-generation Peacock, she is guiding the winery into the future.
